Age Calculator — 100% Client-Side
All age and age-difference calculations are performed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your date of birth, calculation results, and any other personal information you enter are never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on any server. Nothing you type into the calculator leaves your device.
This means: no accounts, no databases, no server logs containing your personal data. You can verify this by opening your browser's Developer Tools (Network tab) — you will see no data being sent during calculation.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-7ZQHVX57GE) to understand how visitors use our site — which pages are popular, which languages are used, and whether people find the tool helpful. This helps us improve the calculator.
What GA4 Collects
- Page views — which URLs are visited
- Session data — time on site, pages per session
- Device info — browser type, screen size, operating system
- Geo-location — country/city level (derived from anonymized IP)
- Language preference — based on browser settings
- Referral source — how you found our site (search, social, direct)
What GA4 Does NOT Collect
- Your name, email, or any personal identity
- Your date of birth or age calculation data
- Your IP address (GA4 anonymizes IPs by default)
- Any data entered into the calculator form
How GA4 Uses Cookies
GA4 sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish unique users and track sessions. These cookies:
- Expire after 2 years (

- Are used solely for aggregate analytics
- Are never shared with third parties beyond Google's analytics service
Advertising & Third-Party Ad Partners

When you switch languages using the language selector, we save your preference in your browser's localStorage (key: preferred_locale). This is a simple text string like "zh" or "en". It never leaves your device, is not accessible by other websites, and contains no personal information. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share the data you enter into our calculators. We use Google Analytics for anonymized traffic measurement and Adsterra to deliver advertising. These third parties may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies.

Hosting & Infrastructure
